Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms

By using hshr.it ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use constitutes acceptance.

The service

hshr.it is a URL shortening service with click analytics. We provide:

• Short link creation and management
• Click analytics (country, device, referrer, etc.)
• QR code generation
• Campaign grouping and reporting

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. One person per account — no shared accounts.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use hshr.it to link to, promote, or distribute any of the following. This list is explicit on purpose — links in these categories are removed and the accounts behind them are banned:

• Adult content and adult services — pornography, escort or adult-services advertising, camming, or any sexually explicit material, including links that redirect or cloak their way to such content
• Phishing and malware — credential harvesting pages, malware, spyware, or links that disguise a harmful destination (including pages hosted on compromised or throwaway infrastructure)
• Spam and deception — unsolicited bulk messaging, affiliate cloaking, misleading users about where a link goes, or evading content filters on other platforms
• Illegal content — anything that violates applicable laws or regulations, including pirated material and infringement of intellectual property rights
• Violence, hate, and harassment — extremist content, hate speech, or content that harasses or threatens others

You also agree not to:

• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, blocklists, or other abuse controls
• Use the service to build a competing product or resell our infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from hshr.it or its analytics

Enforcement. We screen destinations against automated blocklists and safety services at creation and at click time. Links that violate this policy stop resolving and display a blocked notice. We may disable links, revoke API keys, and permanently ban accounts — without prior notice — and we retain identifiers of banned accounts (such as email address) to prevent repeat abuse. Violations involving illegal content may be reported to the relevant authorities.

API usage

The hshr.it API is provided for legitimate integrations. By using the API, you additionally agree to:

• Respect rate limits: Free plan — 100 requests/hour, Pro plan — 1,000 requests/hour
• Keep your API keys confidential and not share them with third parties
• Not use automated methods to create links for spam, phishing, SEO manipulation, or any deceptive purpose
• Not resell, sublicense, or white-label API access without written permission
• Accept that excessive or abusive API usage may result in automatic revocation of your API keys
• Not use the API to build a service that competes with hshr.it

API keys that exceed safety thresholds may be automatically revoked. You will be notified and can contact us to restore access after review. We reserve the right to permanently ban accounts engaged in abuse.

Free and Pro plans

The Free plan includes up to 25 short links with full click analytics. The Pro plan ($7/month or $49/year) includes unlimited links, custom slugs, campaigns, bulk creation, and other premium features.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel anytime — your Pro features remain active until the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Link persistence

Free links do not expire unless you set an expiration date. We make reasonable efforts to keep links working indefinitely, but we do not guarantee permanent availability. If you delete your account, your links will stop working.

Limitation of liability

hshr.it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost revenue from broken links, inaccurate analytics, or service downtime.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your links will stop redirecting and your data will be deleted within 30 days.
